“Biella meets Milano” is a fantastic and unique trend book created in collaboration between the Italian trend forecasters Meta Trend Milano and Biella Textile Trend, which have merged into the newly founded trend company “Biella Milano Textile (BMT)”.
The trend book is a must-have tool targeted at the exclusive textile companies, with over 100 pages filled with the best trend content for you who work with fashion and textiles. The trend book is especially aimed at fashion designers, and can facilitate collaboration across the creative departments of design companies. You will find lots of inspiration for shapes, colors and innovative textiles - the trend book is a true land of slapstick for any textile connoisseur!
“Biella meets Milano” is a sensual and tactile trend book with a focus on textile trends. You will find 170 textile samples in genderless and seasonless styles staged in 17 moods using beautiful inspirational images and associated color harmonies. Recognized wool spinning mills from Biella, i.a. Cerruti, Zignone and Tollegno, have designed and produced the beautiful textiles that are produced using both traditional techniques and new technologies. The specially selected textiles are favorites among the luxurious Italian fashion houses such as. Armani, Gucci and Kiton. A color chart consisting of 40 trend colors with Pantone TCX references is also included in the trend release.
The aesthetics and atmosphere are paramount, and you get concrete descriptions of each design concept, which draws on trend inspiration in everything from the city's architecture, the nature of the savannah and the Michelin restaurant, Massimo Bottura's dishes. Calm atmospheres with showered pastel colors, and ethnic-inspired patterns in strong and electric color palettes divided into 6 trend themes - you will find lots of trend material to explore and work on in your product development of new styles.
Technical details and specifications for composition and weight are stated on 95% of the textiles, and Biella Milano Textile can communicate the contact to the respective manufacturers.
The trend book is like no other, and quality permeates the entire trend book from the inside out - the cover is e.g. handmade and bound in extra fine merino wool from Lanificio di Tollegno. In addition to the physical version, you also receive the trend book in a digital version, and you also get a USB with all the pictures, so you have the opportunity to put together moodboards yourself.
This is now the largest trend book pej group retailer of all available, and we are pleased to be able to offer our customers this unique and exclusive trend forecast within the textiles of the future.
The next trend release, "Biella Milano Textile - Spring / summer", will be released in July 2022.
